రెండు సింహాల తో బోను లో.....

ఉక్రేనియా కి చెందిన Aleksandr Pylyshenko (ఆర్టిస్ట్ )Vasilyevka, southeastern Ukraine  లో ఉన్న ఒక ప్రైవేట్  జూ లో ...ఒక అయిదు వారాలు  రెండు ఆఫ్రికన్ సింహాలు ఉన్న పంజరం లో గడపటానికి నిశ్చయించుకుని ,ఆగస్ట్ ౩ ,2011  నుంచి తన నిర్ణయాన్ని అమలు పరుస్తున్నాడు.దీని ద్వారా వచ్చిన డబ్బులను,సింహాల లివింగ్ కండిషన్స్ ను మెరుగు పరచటానికి ఉపయోగిస్తాడట.నిజం గ ఇది ఒక సాహస నిర్ణయం కదా!

ఎప్పుడు ఏ పక్కనుంచి తీవ్రవాదులు లేకపోతే మతోన్మాదులు వచ్చి దాడి చేస్తారో.....

ఆస్తి కోసం దాయాదులు చంపుతారో,కన్నపిల్లలే చంపుతారో....

స్నేహితులుగా నటిస్తూనే మన వెనక గోతులు తవ్వుతుంటారో ....

తెలియని పరిస్థితుల లో మనుషుల మధ్య ఉండటం కంటే సింహాల మధ్య ఉండటం అంత అపాయకరమేమి కాదేమో!

పక్కనే సింహం ఉన్నా... ఎంత కూల్ గా పెయింట్ చేసుకుంటున్నాడో చూడండి.

యు.పి. కి చెందిన అక్షత్ సక్సేన అనే బాలుడు ,కాళ్ళకు(ఒక్కో కాలికి పది వ్రేళ్ళు)చేతులకి(ఒక్కో చేతికి ఏడు ) కలిపి 34  వ్రేళ్ళు ఉన్న కారణం గా గిన్నిస్ బుక్ రికార్డుల్లో కి ఎక్కాడు.

ప్రతి ఏటా సెప్టెంబర్ పదోవ తేదీన   వరల్డ్ సుసైడ్ ప్రివెన్షన్ డేను పాటిస్తున్నారు. ఈ ఏడాది , ప్రపంచంలోని విభిన్న సంస్కృతులున్న సమాజాల్లో ఆత్మహత్యలకు దారితీస్తున్న  అంశాలపై చైతన్యం కలిగించాలని నిర్ణయించుకున్నారు.  ఈ కార్యక్రమాలను International Association for Suicide Prevention (IASP) and the World Health Organization (WHO).స్పాన్సర్ చేస్తున్నాయి.

 

ఆత్మహత్యలకు సంబంధించి కొన్ని వాస్తవాలు:

ప్రపంచ వ్యాప్తం గా ప్రతిఏటా పది లక్షల మంది  ఆత్మహత్యలకు పాల్పడు తున్నారు.

 ఆత్మహత్యలకు పాల్పడేవారిలో  మగవారి కంటే ఆడవారు నాలుగు రెట్లు ఎక్కువ.

పది నుంచి పద్నాలుగు సంవత్సరాల లోపు పిల్లల్లో ప్రతి ఏట 75,000 మంది లో ఒకరు ఆత్మహత్య చేసుకుంటున్నారు.

ఆత్మహత్యలు చేసుకుంటున్న వారిలో 95 % మంది  మానసిక సమస్యలతో బాధపడుతున్నారు.

 మద్యానికి బానిస అయిన వాళ్ళు 36 %మంది  ,డ్రగ్స్ కి అడిక్ట్ అయినవాళ్ళు 16 % మంది ఆత్మహత్యలకు పాల్పడుతున్నారు.

 

"If things don't work out I can always kill myself. I always have that option."

Suicide is not an option. And the type of mindset that accompanies this type of statement needs to be changed immediately.
